Axis Community Day

Community Day places participation alongside performance, creating space for people to meet, make, listen, and contribute. The programme can include conversations, creative activities, informal gatherings, and accessible cultural experiences that show how Axis connects people beyond the main stages.

Visitors can choose how actively they take part. Some may come for a particular discussion or activity, while others may browse, meet fellow attendees, and follow the day’s energy. Practical information helps you understand what needs advance booking and what can be enjoyed more freely.

This event suits families, local communities, first-time festivalgoers, volunteers, partners, and anyone interested in the social side of Axis. It is also a useful introduction for people who want to understand the festival before choosing other events.
