Room 000 — Threshold

Corridor is empty. Lights are on for no one. Timecode is running whether you stay or not. One instruction: click. Every click moves you one room deeper — nine floors, each room a finished body of work.

THE CONTRACT

There is no back button in a hallway. Only forward.

WHAT THIS BUILDING IS

Archive, press kit and front door — hidden inside a piece of horror.

FLOOR 001 · SCREENING ROOM · TIMECODE INTACT

Room 001 — The Architecture of Dread

A documentary essay on liminal horror: why an empty office corridor frightens us more than a monster, and how a generation built an entire folklore out of carpet, fluorescent light and bad JPEG compression. Watch the reel here, in full, with the production notes attached — every sequence generated, composited and graded in-house, treated as cinematography rather than novelty.

THE REEL

Embedded feature cut with timecode intact; press-approved excerpts available on request.

PRODUCTION NOTES

Shot lists, seeds, reference plates and the discarded takes that taught us the most.

WHY IT TRAVELS

Built for festival projection and vertical feeds alike — one grammar, two exhibition formats.

AVAILABLE FOR

Programming, licensing, campus screenings and commissioned sequels in other buildings.

EVIDENCE ROOM · FLOORS 003 / 007 / 008

The Archive — Recovered Evidence

Before the models, there was the fence. Tanya Velazco spent nine years photographing the interiors of a disappearing Miami — hospitals, hotels, schools, houses mid-collapse — and published them as Abandoned Miami: Stay Out / No Trespassing. PBS came for the story; the buildings are mostly gone now. What survives is here, catalogued like an incident file, and for sale.

THE BOOKS

Abandoned Miami: Stay Out / No Trespassing — signed copies shipped from the studio.

ARCHIVAL PRINTS

Limited editions, museum-grade paper, numbered and stamped with the site's last address.

PBS FEATURE

Broadcast documentary segment on the work and the ethics of entering.

PROVENANCE

Every frame is a real room, on a real date, with a real door left open.

“Less interested in using AI to generate polished images than in using it as a filmmaking and world-building medium.”
— TANYA VELAZCO · ABANDONED MUSE · MIAMI, FL

FLOORS 002 / 004 / 005 / 006 · WORKING SYSTEMS

Signal / Process

AI is a production medium here, not a stunt. We storyboard, cast, block, light and edit; the model is a camera department with strange weather. That discipline is the offer: labs get an artist who can break their video models productively and document exactly how, and studios get finished films instead of demos.

FOR AI LABS

Prompt-engineering residencies, model evaluation, red-teaming of generative video pipelines.

FOR BRANDS & STUDIOS

Commissioned shorts, title sequences and world-building with a defensible visual point of view.

CREDENTIALS

Published photographer, PBS-featured, festival-screened, working daily inside frontier video tools.

ADJACENT ROOMS

Scores about forgetting, interactive fictions, and experiments we keep because they misbehave.

Exit — Sign-Out Log

No one leaves without signing. Give a name, state your purpose of visit, leave a message — commission brief, festival invitation, licensing request, or nothing at all. The mailing list is one line and infrequent: new films, print drops, screening dates. Replies come from Tanya, not a department.

▸ ENTRY RECORDED. CAM 09 SAW YOU LEAVE. A REPLY COMES FROM TANYA.

PURPOSE OF VISIT

Commission / Festival / Press / Lab partnership / Print or book order / Just looking.

MESSAGE

Budget, deadline and format if you have them; the idea alone is fine if you don't.
