mumbaimart.comBooks & Stationery
Textbooks, exam guides, notebooks, and stationery sold by students and schools — often with handwritten notes and prior use tags.
Mumbai students consistently trade textbooks for engineering, medical, and entrance exams like JEE or NEET, especially before new academic years start in June or July. Listings often mention edition years, pages marked, and whether previous questions appear in the margins. A well-kept Mumbai University or University of Mumbai guide might still have solved examples circled by a batch topper, making it more valuable than a new print.
Stationery kits — especially for junior classes or competitive exam rough work — are commonly sold by schools during summer clearance. These often include branded notebooks, highlighters, and geometry boxes, sometimes with teacher-approved syllabus checklists. Look for sellers who mention how the kit was stored (dry place, no exposure), as humidity damage is common during Mumbai’s monsoons.
Avoid sellers who don’t specify edition numbers or book condition — outdated editions are only useful if the syllabus hasn’t changed. Verified student profiles often upload a scanned index page or sample text to confirm authenticity. Many listings include pickup options near local train stations like Dadar, Kurla, or Andheri, making it easy to combine with other errands.
