Sublocality filters
Filter by your precise ward or nearest station to find what’s happening within walking or short autos distance.
If you live near Wadala Road station and need a plumber, you’ll see results grouped within two kilometres—not random posts from Thane. Choose your sublocality—like Elphinstone, Jogeshwari West, or Powai Lake side—and the feed narrows to posts tagged to that ward or railway station buffer. You’ll see listings for that day’s street-side tailors, garage repairs, or even community gardening groups—all geotagged to your zone.
During job hunting, many prefer walking or cycling to work. In Dadar West, for instance, a verified job alert for a grocery delivery helper might appear within 1.5 km of Dadar Station, not 8 km away in Kurla. Filters let you toggle between ward, station, or landform—like 'near Powai Lake' or 'east of Sion Tunnel'—so you only see options realistically reachable.
Community alerts work the same way. A burst pipeline near Byculla gets flagged only for subscribers within its immediate ward, not city-wide. When traffic diversions happen near VT, moderators pin alerts to the relevant sublocality filters—so if you filter for 'North of Mahalakshmi', you won’t get flooded with notices for Vashi. It’s Mumbai, scaled to your street.
