Post local notices

Share lost pets, community meetings or freelance gigs—things that matter most to your street, wadi or building.

For lost pets, post a photo showing the animal’s most distinctive feature—collar, ear notch, or colour pattern—and add where it was last seen, the time, and your contact method. Keep it concise but complete. Many residents check notices daily, so repeat once after 24 hours if needed. Avoid sharing full home addresses—use nearby landmarks instead, like ‘near Sion Market arch’ or ‘between Versova and Khar stations’.

Community notices like meetings or bulk waste collection need clear dates and times—‘Saturday, 10 am at your wadi gate’—not vague hints like ‘coming soon’. Mention who’s organizing it, even if it’s just ‘Neighbourhood Group’. People respond better when they know it’s not spam but something they can attend or support. If it’s a protest or request, include the core ask: ‘We ask BMC to collect garbage twice daily’.

Freelance gigs—like tutoring, photography, or event help—work best when you specify area, days available, and what you offer. ‘Marathi/English home tuition for std 5-8, Kurla West, weekdays after 5 pm’ draws the right people fast. Skip generic lines like ‘experienced tutor’—include who you’ve helped before: ‘helped two students in Bandra get into FYJC’. Keep it real, keep it local.
