Dark Room Screening
Immersive analog film screenings in a blacked-out, low-light venue with curated avant-garde and archival titles.

What's included
- Analog film projection
- Curated program
- Pre-screening ambient warming
- Limited capacity entry
Held in a venue stripped of all visual distractions, this screening invites audiences into a deep cinematic trance. Films are presented on 16mm or 35mm projection, emphasizing texture, grain, and light-sensitive dynamics rarely seen on digital screens.
The program rotates between rare experimental works, overlooked avant-garde pieces, and newly restored archival fragments—each chosen to trigger associative thinking across time and form. Sound design is minimal, allowing the projector’s hum and film sprocket rhythm to become part of the score.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to settle into the space and reflect after the final reel. It’s a meditative, tactile encounter with cinema’s materiality—perfect for those who see film as physical presence, not passive entertainment.
