Music Film Lab

This event pairs a silent classic or contemporary short film with a newly composed live soundtrack performed by an interdisciplinary ensemble. Artists collaborate in real time, responding to the visuals and each other’s energy, creating a one-of-a-kind shared experience.

The performance is followed by an intimate talk where the musicians, director, and curators unpack their creative choices and the process of translating image into sound. It invites audiences to witness how meaning shifts across mediums during a single screening.

Attendees become part of a dynamic creative conversation—where film isn’t just watched but heard, felt, and reimagined in real time. It’s ideal for those who love experimental storytelling and collaborative art-making.
