Get involved

SafeRest offers approved overnight spaces—like safe parking lots or designated rest areas—where people can stay without fear of sweeps or harassment. Sites have lighting, trash collection, and basic info kiosks.

On-site staff patrol periodically, share food and water when available, and connect people with nearby showers, health clinics, or shelter beds. You can pre-register to secure a spot or walk in during hours.

Unlike unofficial areas, SafeRest sites are coordinated with local authorities and service groups. They’re not permanent housing, but they’re a bridge—keeping people safe while services catch up.
