Community Kitchen Table
Long tables under trees where strangers sit together, cook simple dishes, and share stories over a multi-course meal.

What's included
- Three-course shared meal
- Candlelit tables
- Story circle prompts
- Volunteer seating help
Ten-foot tables stretch beneath oak canopies, set with mismatched ceramic plates and fresh linen. Volunteers serve seasonal dishes—think grilled zucchini, herb rice, stone fruit compote—made in full view of guests.
At each table, one person lights a candle and invites others to share why they came, what they hope to leave behind, or what they carried in their pocket today. The stories are short; the silences are safe.
It’s a reminder that gathering itself is the event. People come solo or in groups, expecting to leave with new neighbors. Kids run between tables; elders tell tales across generations. All sit equal.
