Structured administrative support for every step required to move a domain from seller to buyer with clear instructions and confirmation.
Funds are held by JJN Solutions Law, PLLC in its regulated attorney trust account until transfer completion is independently confirmed.
Domain transfers carry real risk when payment and ownership change hands at different times. Our service keeps both sides protected with custody, verification, and attorney supervision.
Payment is held safely until the domain is officially transferred to the buyer.
Both buyer and seller are protected from fraud and non-performance.
Domain transfer completion is independently confirmed before funds are released.
Administered by a licensed law firm; funds-handling follows attorney trust account rules.
A defined procedure applies if a disagreement arises, with funds held until it is resolved.
Every Domain Name Transfer Service transaction follows five defined steps—from agreed terms through next-business-day disbursement.
Buyer and seller agree on transaction terms and the transfer arrangement.
Buyer deposits the purchase price into the JJN Solutions attorney trust account.
Seller unlocks the domain and initiates transfer to the buyer’s account or provides the authorization code.
Buyer has 5 business days from the transfer date to verify full administrative control of the domain.
Funds are disbursed to the seller, and broker(s) if applicable, the next business day.
Transactions in U.S. dollars. No minimum transaction size—minimum fees apply as shown below.
| Transaction amount | Fee rate | Minimum fee |
|---|---|---|
| Up to $200,000 | 1.7% | $350 |
| $200,001 – $2,000,000 | 0.9% | $3,400 |
| $2,000,001 and greater | 0.78% | $18,000 |
Flexible structures for parties who prefer monthly payments—or a pure lease with no ownership transfer.
| Transaction type | Fee |
|---|---|
| Lease-to-own | Service fee per the schedule above, plus a 1.9% administration fee included in each monthly payment |
| Straight lease | $395 flat setup fee, plus 3.5% of each monthly lease payment |
On lease-to-own, the lessee may pay the remaining balance in full at any time without additional charge. Maximum lease-to-own term is 48 months.
Under a straight lease, no ownership interest transfers to the lessee and all rights revert to the domain owner at the end of the term.
These fees are charged by the financial institutions processing your payment and are in addition to the service fee and any monthly administration fee. They are the responsibility of the party initiating the payment.
| Payment method | Fee |
|---|---|
| Bank wire transfer (domestic and international) | $20 flat fee per wire |
| ACH (Automated Clearing House) | 1% of the transaction amount |
| Cryptocurrency (where the seller agrees to accept it) | Network fees borne by the sender |
| Debit / credit card | 2.9% |
| American Express | 3.5% |
Note on large transactions. Because the ACH fee is a percentage of the transaction amount, wire transfer is normally the less expensive option on larger deals. We are happy to help you compare before you send funds.
Charged when we send funds out to a seller or broker, and deducted from that party’s payout. Separate from the payment method fees above, which apply to funds coming into escrow.
| Payout method | Fee |
|---|---|
| ACH | No fee |
| Bank wire transfer (domestic) | $30 per transfer |
| Bank wire transfer (international) | $40 per transfer |
| Cryptocurrency | Network fees borne by the recipient |
ACH payouts are free, and you can switch to ACH at any time. On a lease-to-own or straight lease the fee applies to each monthly disbursement, so choosing ACH on a 12-month arrangement saves $360 in wire fees. Tell us in writing before the next disbursement and we’ll change it.
Clear allocation of fees keeps total transaction costs transparent before anyone sends funds.
If the buyer has agreed to pay all or a portion of the transaction fee, the fee amount will be added to the purchase price of the domain name so total transaction costs are clear upfront.
The party responsible for the fee is recorded in the Transaction Details section of your agreement.
Once all applicable conditions of the transaction have been completed and verified, JJN Solutions will pay the seller and broker (if applicable) the next business day via the methods below.
Domestic or international wire to the seller or broker on the next business day after verification.
No-fee ACH payout—often the most cost-effective choice, especially on recurring lease disbursements.
Available if the seller agrees to accept cryptocurrency and the buyer pays in cryptocurrency.
If the seller or broker agrees to pay all or a portion of the transaction fee, the fee will be deducted from the applicable payout. Disbursement fees, where applicable, are also deducted from that party’s payout.
