Children & Youth
Sunday School, Confirmation, and youth group gather across ages and stages to explore faith together.
Sunday School meets on Sundays during the main worship service, offering age-appropriate lessons for children ages three through twelve. Younger children begin with play and Bible stories before moving to classrooms in the South Garden Wing, where they engage in crafts, discussion, and prayer. Confirmation prepares middle and high schoolers for membership and deeper understanding of Lutheran teaching, with time for questions, service projects, and discernment.
Youth group in the South Garden Wing provides weekly fellowship for teens, combining games, discussion, and faith reflection. Leaders foster safe, inclusive space where youth build relationships and support one another. Sessions often link with current social issues or liturgical seasons, helping teens connect faith with everyday life. All volunteers undergo background checks and training.
Families are encouraged to attend worship together before sending children to Sunday School. Teachers and youth leaders are trained in child safety and spiritual care, and all activities emphasize grace, inclusion, and belonging. Parents receive occasional updates about upcoming topics and service opportunities for their children to join.
