Outreach
Weekly food pack prep, seasonal drives, and partnerships with local shelters offer hands-on service.
Volunteers help prepare weekly food packs through Advent’s monthly food pantry, held on the first Saturday of each month. Work includes sorting donations, assembling kits, and packing boxes for distribution to families and individuals. All are welcome to join, and no experience is required. Teams work together in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Seasonal outreach efforts include coat and toy drives during colder months, coordinated with community partners. Volunteers help collect, sort, and distribute items before holiday seasons. These initiatives connect us with neighbors in need and often involve youth groups, Bible studies, and music ensembles working side by side to serve together.
Advent partners with a local shelter to provide meals and support throughout the year. Volunteers assist with meal prep, serving, and relationship-building, always guided by dignity and respect. These partnerships reflect our commitment to living out faith through action, not just words, and create lasting connections between the church and its surrounding community.
