Music Ministry

Choirs at Advent include the weekly Chancel Choir, which leads Sunday worship and sings major works throughout the year. Rehearsals are open to adults of varying experience levels, with part divisions and vocal coaching offered. Singers contribute to special services, including Holy Week and Advent programs, and some participate in community concerts or collaborations with other local churches.

The Bell Choir plays handbells and handchimes during worship and special events, typically rehearsing weekly in the Bell Tower Studio. Beginners are welcome and receive instruction in technique and music reading. The ensemble performs seasonally, including Advent and Easter, and often joins with other music groups for combined offerings.

Seasonal instrumental ensembles form around major liturgical seasons, welcoming string, wind, and percussion players of all levels. Music directors help tailor selections to available players and provide coaching when needed. These groups perform in worship, outreach events, or special concerts, enhancing the worship experience through varied textures and timbres.
