Faith Development
Bible studies and evening prayer circles help deepen spiritual practice and connection.
Bible studies in the North Reading Room welcome all seeking to explore scripture and faith together. Topics range from book-by-book study to thematic series, often connecting with church seasons or current events. Facilitators guide discussion with open questions and space for diverse perspectives, emphasizing listening and shared learning over debate or doctrine.
Evening prayer circles in the garden offer quiet, reflective gatherings during Advent and Lent. Guided by liturgy and silence, participants pray, read scripture, and meditate in turns. The outdoor setting adds gentle rhythm to contemplation, and all are welcome—no prior experience with prayer or liturgy needed. Small groups often continue conversation over tea afterward.
These programs foster spiritual growth and mutual care, with occasional guest speakers or retreat days offered seasonally. Participation is voluntary, and no commitment is required beyond attending. Many find these gatherings nourishing, especially during seasons of transition or deep reflection, and often return regularly or invite others to join.
