How a transaction works,
step by step

Every domain transaction on DomainEscrow.com follows the same structured, legally supervised sequence. Here is exactly what to expect from initiation through closing — including when funds move and when the domain moves.

  1. 1Initiation
  2. 2Notification
  3. 3Agreement
  4. 4Authorization
  5. 5FulfillmentIn Closing

1. Initiation

The Seller/Lessor, Buyer/Lessee, or Broker starts the transaction online and submits all relevant terms.

2. Notification

The initiating party gets a confirmation; the other party is emailed the full terms and asked to agree to them.

3. Agreement

Once both sides agree, JJN Solutions emails a formal Transaction Agreement with all terms and each party's name, address, email, and phone — drafted to protect both parties in the event of non-performance.

4. Authorization

Both parties sign and return the agreement; the Buyer/Lessee then receives payment instructions and the Seller/Lessor receives domain transfer instructions.

5. Fulfillment & Closing

After the 5 business day inspection period, escrow deals release funds to the Seller the next business day and transfer the domain to the Buyer the next business day; transfer-service deals move the domain directly, with receipt confirmed before funds are released the next business day.

JJN

Your funds are held in trust with JJN Solutions Law, PLLC, a fiduciary law firm, until the deal is closed.

DomainEscrow.com, the domain transfer and escrow service administered by JJN Solutions Law, PLLC

Nature of this service

We built DomainEscrow.com for the people who close domain deals every week — brokers and investors moving four- to seven-figure names — and for the small business or agency buying its first premium domain and worried about getting scammed. Both get the same supervised process.

Nothing moves until the terms are in writing and both sides have signed. That is the whole point.

What this service is

We hold funds, verify that agreed conditions have been met, coordinate the movement of domain names between registrars, and disburse funds when the transaction completes.

What this service is not

These services are not legal services and do not constitute the practice of law; using them does not create an attorney-client relationship with JJN Solutions Law, PLLC or its attorneys.

We are neutral

We do not advise any party on whether a transaction is advisable, whether the price is fair, or whether the terms serve that party's interest — each party makes its own commercial and legal decisions.

About the trust account

Client funds are held in a regulated attorney trust account; that is an account-custody arrangement governing how your money is safeguarded, not a conversion of escrow into a legal service.

If you want legal advice

Legal services are available separately from JJN Solutions Law, PLLC under a written engagement agreement, subject to a conflicts check and billed at the firm's hourly rates.
